I did see that, but it has very low angle radiation probably with a deep  
null at higher angles.
It's advantage was that it has horizontal polarisation.
 
I can't help but feel a quadrifilar helix would be better There are some  
designs out there and there is also an online calculator for the  dimensions 
for a frequency of your choice.
