Yes but
To use the rig as a cross band repeater is a different story.
To input on VHF and retransmit on UHF is crossband repeat
Using the rig as a repeater.
I have an HT that is full duplex but is unable to crossband 
repeat(rebroadcast on another band)
Am I correct in my statements
