Hi Alan,
I'm not much of an expert on Predict, but I use it for driving my Az/El rotor assembly. The ALON/ALAT items are for satellites that are stabilized in their orientation towards Earth (such as AO-40), so you can predict how good the pass is going to be, signal-wise. My database entry for AO-40 is "0, 352" (without the quotes), as an example. I don't believe any of the current birds are so equipped.
I've never used the schedule items, but now that you bring it up, I wonder if AO-07 would qualify when it's in full sunlight?
