Hello All,
Tim you are correct, in that ARRL does not accept EQSL
for awards. I'm in the LOTW system, but I still prefer a "real card".
I enjoy seeing the envelope in the mail box from the buro,
or the QSL cards sent direct! The convenience of LOTW is very
nice, but I like to show off the cards received too! Most are
in a photo album on the coffee table. When visitors are over,
they really get a kick out of seeing the cards too.

Steve KB8VAO

I also have received many eQSL requests, and honor them - but if I need to confirm a grid or state for an award, I send my card with a SASE and request a card from the other station. Not everyone has complied, but many more have than haven't. I thank all of them for that.

>I haven't signed up for Log of the World yet, but see that some operators also are using it. ARRL does recognize LoTW electronic "QSLs" for its awards, but I don't believe it recognizes those from the eQSL site. I'm confident someone will correct me if that's inaccurate.
