The satellite won't work ;) That's a broad question. If the satellite is healthy hardware-wise, an upload would be re-attempted (multiple times you can be sure).
If the uploads don't work--it's time to debug and determine why the uploads aren't working, etc.

In theory, if specific memory locations become useless, they might be programmed around. But life is probably not so simple!
