I should add that I'm using the following pin number connection:

KPC: As you look at the connector on the rear panel, it goes
5 4 3 2 1
 9 8 7 6

TS-2000: As you look at the connector on the rear panel, it goes:
13
9 10 11 12
5 6 7 8
1 2 3 4
