I have tried both software with my FT-847.

Before I state which is my favourite, I must let you know about my correspondence with the authors.

Simon and Erich helped me a lot when I started to test their products, so I am really grateful to them.

When I use SatPC32 it is just like I were on an HF band, no difference. HRD V5.0 seems to be a bit too complex as a whole.

That's why I prefer Sat32PC and I can recommend to everyone for satellite activity.
