I am submitting an update to the AMSAT WSR page to show Sapphire
as dead.
Sapphire was declared non-operational on 22 March 2007 by Mike
Swartout of Washington University (one of the original (then
students) who built Sapphire at Stanford). The last known
contact was by Bill, KB2RC on 5 Nov 2004. (his QSL report was
just from a copied email, so if anyone else wants to claim last
contact, lemme know...)
