Nobody guarentees your GPS to be accurate to within 30 feet and neither does Google maps.
My GPS usually claims around 10-12 feet accuracy provided it can see around 10 satellites.
Leave your GPS on laying in your yard for a couple of hours plotting it's course and see how far it wanders.
