[amsat-bb] Electronics parts in space?

what happen with electronics parts in space like
quartz and electrolytic capacitor in vacuum. I have never heard
about how quartz works in space is there any limitations?
I know that some plastic outgasing and  are not suitable for use
in space, but if using COTS technology like hamradio station yaesu vx-series
on cubesats,
I believe that there are many electronics parts which are crytical for
use on the cubesats?
