How about a Hamtronics TD-5 Subaudible Tone Module. Notice that you use dip
switches to set the tone, How quaint! I think the 726 has a rubber cover
thingie that fits the top cover that you can remove to access the dip
switch...

Likewise.  Great rig for HEO and pacsats.  A bit pricy, but you can get a
nice PL tone decoder/encoder from Piexx.

My first Sat radio was a FT726. I remember fitting a generic tone board, not
a big deal to do. What one is now worth? I haven't a clue...

What is the current market value for a Yaesu FT726 with the 2m and 432
modules, and the satellite board installed?  It is in good condition, with
the hand mic and power cord, but no tone board installed.  Or is anyone on
the reflector looking for one?
