Last year at Dayton, where it was not so much announced as broadly hinted
at, I asked and was told that it was planned to have all the satellite
functions of the D7, plus a thorough modernization for components and
features.  It will be interesting to see whether they deliver on that.
After being burned with the Alinco last year, I will hold off on ordering
one to get some operational reports.  ;)
