I have no problem with duplex as long as i have it turned on ;o)
It could probably be better and i have no method to measure how good/bad 
the duplex is.
Anyhow on 2m/70cm 2m/23cm and 70cm/23cm i have no problem but i have not 
tested it via one of the birds.

Reading the service manual you can see that some values can be changed 
with firmware and/or via the "service" menu.
