Bob,

SO-50 is operating, however it is a difficult bird to track, it's in a lower LEO orbit, hence the Doppler moves more quickly than AO-51, the antenna aboard SO-50 is a 1/4 wave vertical antenna

I have attached a screen shot of the satellite status page, if you would like to verify you're observations, you can get a synopsis of the satellite activity.
