Hello Bob,
What kind of serial port are you using?
Unfortunately I don't have Windows 7, 64-bit, but on one of my PCs I run
Windows Vista 64-bit.

CAT steering of the IC-910H works here (CAT baud rate 19200, CAT delay 70):

1. with COM 1 (genuine physical port that came with the PC),

2. with a Prolific USB-to-Serial adapter, driver date Nov. 19, 2009, driver
version 3.3.10.140,

3. with a FTDI USB-to-Serial adapter, driver date March 13, 2009, driver
version 2.4.6.0,

4. with 2 serial ports on a PCI card (MosChip-Semiconductor Technology Ltd.,
driver date May 22, 2008, driver version 1.0.0.6

I suppose these drivers will also work with Windows 7, 64-bit.
But it is most important to look for the latest driver versions for Windows
7, 64-bit.
