Mike,

     Unfortunately, it will not.  When you transmit on VHF it will quit
listening on UHF, or when you transmit on UHF it will quit listening on VHF.

     That being said, it does hear better than my other handhelds which I
will admit are becoming a little dated.

Does anybody know whether the Wouxun dual bander can be configured for a
cross band repeater.
Alternatively, can someone point me in the right direction where I might
find the information,
