[amsat-bb] ARISSat-1 on 2M

Sorry to re-re-re-post this - but we're in a new month on the system ...  and 
further apologies if the answer is really obvious ...

Do the ARISS powers-that-be know WHY some had tremendous success hearing 
the WONDERFUL pre-recorded messages from kids on 145.95 last weekend - 
while some passes had "empty carrier" or  nothing on 145.95?

I experienced both phenomena - just a "keying up" and dead silence for a 
few seconds at 1:03AM PDT Sunday morning, and then wonderful, full kids' 
messages during the 2:38AM PDT pass.
