Your explanation is much what I expected. Was hoping to find a sstv program that will accept .wav files. Much easier to create in the field.
My setup is totally portable. Usually use a netbook running Audigy to capture audio. Will have to run mmsstv whether I like it or not.

In any case, I'll be trying sstv for the first time live tonight. Looking forward to a decent pass so I can get a nice pic.
