Hi Bob, W7LRD

First of all.

In the rear of control box of G5400B you have a DIN connector named
external control.

Disconnect the male of the interface from the above DIN connector.

Using a piece of wire connect the central pin Nr 8 of the above DIN
connector to pin Nr 4 and the rotor must rotate CCW.

After that connect the central pin Nr 8 to pin Nr 2 and the rotor must
rotate CW.

To locate Pin Nr 4 and pin Nr 2 of the DIN connector refere to the
manual of G5500 available in internet.

If you pass the above test it means that the control box is electronically
operational with your interface and you must investigate into the
interface or into your PC or into the interconnection cables.
