Greetings,

This may be old news to some, but I
came across an interesting article
about a Soviet era anti-satellite
test program called Naryad.  It
made a couple of sub-orbital test
flights, and then supposedly was
launched into a high orbit along
with RS-15 on December 26, 1994.

RS-15 was deployed and a short
time later the booster stage
turned into many objects.
