As promised earlier, up for grabs is a KLM Echo 70, the first 432 MHz CW/SSB
transceiver ever made. Unit covers 432.010 - 432.470 and 435.010 - 435.470.
(Either range can be easily changed by swapping out 1 crystal.) 10 watts
out. The original hand mike was shot, and has been replaced with a Shure
CM-140 mobile communications mike. Would make a nice uplink rig for AO-7 or
VO-52, or use it as the driver for an EME station. Has an input on the back
for an external VFO.

Includes mobile mounting bracket, photocopied owner's manual, schematic &
block diagrams, and alignment and modification instructions from Jim
Eagleson, who was the service manager for KLM. Appears to be working FB.
Photos available on request.

Asking $75.00 shipped CONUS.

George, KA3HSW
