We run that exact mode sporadically, including just two weeks ago for
Straight Key Night. It works well for experienced portable ops, and SSB
capable base stations, but cuts out all the HT and Arrow guys. I think
those HT/arrow guys are the prime users and target audience for AO-51,
and the other groups can play on the often empty transponder satellites
anytime they wish.
