Hi Domenico,
I think that when a nonprofit is launching a satellite (CubeSat) for studies and does not involve government is commendable. Even more when they receive Amateur Radio support. Take for example the satellite Yubileiny - RS30 which was launched by Russia in May 2008, I remember it was announced that after a few months of collecting scientific data he would be released into the community of Amateur Radio. It has been almost 3 years and no information of the activation of the RS-30, except the telemetry received by some hams.
I see that there are many fellow hams who develop a brilliant and significant job with the Universities and Associations responsible for the Cubesats in orbit of our planet. Some of them now controlled only by the efforts of Amateurs Radio.
The biggest problem is that many hams radio want and enjoying the satellites, and the time a contribution to the launch of a new satellite do not contribute. Simply they just want them are there, as if it were a magic. If all users of satellites around the world give a small contribution for new releases, for sure we would have more satellites available and certainly a greater number of satellite operators.
When BRASAT (AMSAT - BR) we do not have much information. Some years back we walk probing information to activate it, but we had no information, only that the Junior Castro was the holder of the AMSAT-BR. If you observe, the only ham entity that is supporting the project NANOSATC-BR is the Amateur Radio Association Santamariense - ASRA, a small local association, but big in their efforts.

The Amateur Radio is supportive and helpful in any circumstance.
