Hi Mike, KB8ZGL
Any SWR meter has a directional coupler inside that pass DC so you can can
feed DC power throught it safely like into a coax cable.

Subject: [amsat-bb] Pre-amps with SWR meter
Installing my new UHF/VHF SSB preamps tonight. I have FT-847 to send 12VDC
to them. I currently have an SWR meter between the 847 and the preamps. Can
I feed power through the SWR meter safely? The SWR meter is an SX-1000 by
Diamond.
Thanks,
Mike
