Search the QST archives, as well as QEX, The ARRL Handbook, The VHF/UHF manual,
The UHF/microwave experimenters and projects manual, The RSGB book, The Amateur Satellite Handbook...
The homebrew truth is out there. You don't hear much from us because we're busy building.
