There are, indeed, exceptions to what we are being told. Heck, I have a friend who is a legislative aide to Senator Boxer out here in CA, and I can get my "voice" in their office when I need to quickly.

But there's little argument in the benefits of having our ARRL lobbyist physically hand-carry our letters to the appropriate recipients. That can only have maximum impact ...
