Hi Dave,
I think you got the answers from the other respondents - but I would like to
add a few remarks:
1. The most important in my humble opinion - do not use the CTCSS tone.
In my experience it breaks through on the downlink.
That does not sound very good.
2. Use normal FM - not FM narrow - but adjust the mike gain so that
your downlink audio sounds good.
3. Do not use high power (EIRP). It can give "funny" effects now and then.
4. I use 435.340 MHz for the downlink - but nominal frequency may be OK for
you.
Enjoy the 2 weeks of SO-67 active over the Americas. It has a LARGE downlink
signal :-)

Emne: [amsat-bb] SO-67 questions
Is SO-67 operating on the published frequencies (145.870/435.345) or
does one of up/down need an adjustment?
What is the meaning of "Use Narrow FM on the uplink" on the AMSAT detail
page for SO-67? Not sure if I know of any such configuration on the
Yaesu FT-847.
Thanks - Dave
