Just got back from Dayton had a very good time. The A.M.S.A.T demonstration
outside was great ! They tried for the I.S.S. but the system was not working
on board. Ten minutes later AO-27 came around and Mark N8MH made several
contacts. Now I see why I need a voice recorder . Astronaut Wheelock was
there but did not get his autograph. Martha did an excellent job with the
crowd. I got my elk antenna from A.M.S.A.T talking to Martha she said they
were selling fast. The weather was great Sunny and very warm, with a slight
breeze. The only thing bad about it was the lack of restrooms. They had all
the restrooms closed everywhere I went. Got back to Toledo....rain,chilly
and gloomy :(
