I have often wondered what would happen if N. Korea, Iran or other "similar" country volunteered to put up a amateur radio satellite? The political ramifications would be "interesting" to see. Would NASA, ESA, etc finally "step" up?

Hopefully it is a weather satellite as the news has reported. The thing
that has got me wondering is the Airforce just put its shuttle up in space
again...its just kind of odd to me the launches were so close together time
wise. I saw a clip taken from the Chinese border of the rocket heading into
space.
