Indeed, Bruce--this software implementation for the telemetry is awesome!

We'll get these issues sort out.  The good news of course is that the
packets are being logged locally, so they can submitted manually via
email (which I haven't done yet...)

I removed the current Win7 firewall exceptions for JAVA---no
warning/permissions window popped up!
Uninstalled/reinstalled Java--still no warning/permissions window
popped up; and no exceptions were added to the firewall during
re-install.
Manually added java.exe and javaw.exe to the firewall exceptions
(shows both TCP and UDP), and will test out later as the bird comes
into view...
