Hi Joe!

> How did you manage doppler shift between the FT-817ND and TH-F6A?

Carefully, and with a lot of practice. ;-)

Since I'm not running computer control, I try to keep to the "One True
Rule", and make any changes to the higher frequency. For VO-52
(and also AO-7), that would be the transmit frequency. Sometimes I
am adjusting both the transmit and receive frequencies, to keep up
with whatever the other station is doing. Once you get the hang of
finding yourself on the transponder and then keeping your signals
in your own receiver, it is easier to track what other stations are
doing.

I have posted another video from a VO-52 pass this evening around
0201 UTC, using the same FT-817ND/TH-F6A combination I had in
the video this morning. That video is now available at:

I worked 3 stations on this later pass, but two of the three reported
QRM on their end. All sounded fine at my station. I also tried the
0335 UTC pass for the western USA, but only talked to myself for
10 minutes. I won't worry about posting any video or audio from
that pass, but it was a good pass for me to play around with lower
power levels near the midpoint. At 500mW, I could still hear
myself clearly. And no preamps.

73!
