I don't think so, either, but I'd like to make sure based on previous
experience.

The battery I'm using for my FT-847 is several years old and it might
not retain its charge as well.  The other thing I thought might be a
problem are my antenna cables but the sound from AO-7 wasn't like an
intermittent fault.
