Les,
I have never seen or heard of this problem, so I am shooting in the dark and have no idea WHY this
happened. However, have you tried to assign some satellites to your group? Go to Satellites, select
AMATEUR.TXT or NASA.ALL depending on your preference as source, click on the ones you want in the
Available column, and then see what happens. Let us know what happens, or doesn't, which may give
clues.
In the SatPC32 directory is a program called DATABACKUP.EXE. It may also be in the Programs menu.
This will backup your configuration, and then restore it as needed. I do that regularly, just in
case. It will normally fix these types of problems, though it will restore only what you have backed
up.

Subject: [amsat-bb] Problems with SATPC32 CAT
I've continued to try to troubleshoot the problem with no success. I
checked and the DopplerSQF file appears to be entact. Read the manual
and searched the FAQ but can't find any reason why I'd be "missing" the
data in the CAT field.
If I select an alternative configuration, the program seems to work
fine, but that causes me to lose my settings and have to begin
all over again.
Any ideas?
