Well, Mr. Grumpy here did NOT get it - at first. That is exactly what you explained: An Internet message 
group's message and intent do not always shine through as expected.

I mis-took your comment as a "slam" against us lowly Technicians - and that "techs" were excluding 
others in some manner. "Tech" to me is sometimes used derogatorily and almost as a "slur" when 
speaking with hams with advanced (pun intended) licenses.

So when Mr. Grumpy - er, I mean - when I - read it, I saw it as possibly meaning that "techs" only 
were involved ...

Whatever. I mis-read it. It IS actually funny - now.
