[amsat-bb] Dual IC706 MKII-G operation

Tom,

Radio Shack 20-546 works fine and I find in stock in the stores. Look in the scanner area. Comes with right drivers on CD

The older 20-047 models are fine too. 

Be sure to use the stereo to mono adapter that comes with it and plug the mono plug into the CI-5 connector of the radio. 

Ive used this on many radios of these models:

IC-910H
IC-9100 
IC-703
IC-7600

Your mileage may vary...

(With a F stereo 1/8" to M 8pin mini din wired properly this USB adapter works for FT-817 also...)
