[amsat-bb] lotw

I use PDA's Logic for my logging. When I did a bunch of grid boundary dxpeditions way back and finally uploaded them to lotw I had to create a location for grid group (el29, el19) and it handled it just fine with lotw. in the list of where I operated from I would label it xxx county el29/el19 so that if I ever operate from there again, it is already built and ready to go. if I am the receiving station, I think I have to go into the adif file before transmission and change the grid to el29,el19 and lotw handles the rest. since you are only going to work someone once on a boundary, it is not a problem to change it in the adif file. if you were working hundreds of people, that would be a pain.

Many people use a program such as DXKeeper, HRD Logbook, Log4OM, etc as a front end for LoTW. I don't
know the answer, but I wonder if there might be some subtle incompatibility with the way they pass
information?
