[amsat-bb] small, brief light flash near ISS

You can get past predictions to see what it was. Most likely an iridium flare, but not necessarily so.

Thanks Glenn, David and Brenton. I could definitely check Iridium satellite predicted flares. Forgot about Iridium satellite flares. 
Although this small flash seemed separate from the ISS structure, looking back on the incident, and given how large the ISS is, Im thinking a brief reflection off an area that was not solidly and continuously illuminated during the pass, occurring when the geometry was just perfect for our viewing location, seems the likeliest explanation.
