Triple modular redundancy, NASA EEE INST-002 derating, likely lot by lot
destructive testing on parts. Ability to reset quickly from radiation hits
(in GEO this is much larger of an affect than LEO), Low TID radiation
"wearout".
I'd err more towards graceful failure design than lot by lot destructive
testing.
