Hello David
I made myself a 23cm cross yagi(2*19el) which worked FB for uplink AO-51.The measurements where exactly as designed.Elements are spaced 1/4L between H and V, i spent most off the time in the element cutting, feeding the DR was right on the first timewith 2*1/4L 75ohm coax. It is RHCP.The same design i used for my 8*32el years ago.
So if you are in the possibility to make yourself an antenna, try it. The SHF design antennes from WIMO are the same, and broadband, but for that expensive price, you
can make yourself a few.

Onderwerp: [amsat-bb] L Band antenna recommendations?
Hi
I'm looking for a recommendation for an L band antenna suitable as a groundstation uplink to a satellite in LEO.
Does anyone have anything they could check for SWR on 1264 MHz please?
Linear polarisation is fine as the receive antenna will have circular polarisation. Most of the published data I've seen assumes the user will be on 1296.
Any thoughts much appreciated
Many thanks
David G0MRF
