[amsat-bb] Scottsdale AZ Hamfest, Saturday (21 March)

Hi!

After spending Saturday in Tucson, I'm back to a hamfest next Saturday. The
Scottsdale Amateur Radio Club is hosting its annual Springfest hamfest on
Saturday, 21 March 2015. It will be in the parking lot at the Mountain
Valley Church, on Perimeter Drive north of Princess Drive and west of AZ-101
exit 36 in Scottsdale AZ. The hamfest is a half-day event, typical of most
hamfests in this state. More information about the hamfest is available at:

I will have an AMSAT table at this hamfest, offering demonstrations of
satellite operating using any satellites passing by in the morning - including
attempts at QSOs using the ISS packet/APRS digipeater using APRS messages from
the hamfest site, located in grid DM43. I will use my own call, WD9EWK, for
these demonstrations. As with my other demonstrations, I will upload all QSOs
to Logbook of the World. If you work WD9EWK at the hamfest and want to receive
a QSL card, please e-mail me after the hamfest with the QSO details. If you
are in my log, I will be happy to send you a QSL card.
