[amsat-bb] Uni-Track 2000 info

You can get parallel to USB adapters although they often do not work
in the application.
They often only work with specific versions of windows, and then it
depends on the application.

Many desktops still have a parallel port. If they do not have the
connector, often the motherboard still has the connection. Check the
device manager in windows and look at the motherboard manual. You can
sometimes get a ribbon cable that connects to the motherboard and
brings out a parallel connection on the rear. Even new ones often have
the option.

Ask around for old desktop PCs. Once you get it working with a real
parallel port, then try a USB to parallel adapter.

However I would suggest, at this stage, try to use a different new
interface, one that comes with USB and is supported.

I would also suggest trying to contact the guy via the email on his
website for the 40 page PDF!
