You just need a standard cross RS232 cable. So ground to ground and 2-3 and
3-2.

If I remember correctly you cant use the CAT interface if you have the
external ATU connected - but I might be wrong.

Hi David,

RT Systems provides a cable that will allow CAT control with Ham Radio
deluxe or other programs. As I recall, the 847 needs a null modem cable, NOT
a straight thru.

I may have an extra RT Systems cable for you...let me check tomorrow
