Hi!

In the past few hours, I saw a tweet from JA0CAW mentioning that the
ISS packet system was heard on 437.525 MHz, and there are some
packets captured on ariss.net from the JA0CAW-6 gateway earlier
today. Maybe the UHF radio was left on 437.525 MHz after the
scheduled ARISS contact yesterday, instead of being put back on
437.550 MHz.

Will the radio stay on 437.525 MHz for packet, or will it go back to
437.550 MHz? It's taken a little bit to get some gateway stations to
listen to 437.550 MHz instead of - or, maybe, in addition to - the
145.825 MHz frequency still used by NO-44 and NO-84. It's not hard to
deal with 437.525 MHz, either by changing the memories I've already
put in my HTs, or setting up a new group of 5 memory channels with
the frequencies 25 kHz lower.

73!
