The ARRL just released the July issue of their National Parks on the
Air (NPOTA) newsletter for National Park Service staff and volunteers.

On the last page of this month's newsletter is a short mention of one
way to deal with an "uncooperative ionosphere" - work satellites. It
shows Fernando NP4JV working a satellite from the South Rim of Grand
Canyon National Park in northern Arizona. If you follow Fernando on
