[amsat-bb] Symposium-Who is going?

Satellite Aficionados,

Due to a scheduled knee replacement, I will not be participating in
this year's Symposium/Cruise. However, since all the Sat Ops will
be on the Ship, I volunteer to be one of the few stations still at home
for you all to have someone to contact.   ;-)

BTW, I've been to Cozumel several times and found it to be a very
nice place for shore excursions. I recommend the Dune Buggy Tour
which circumnavigates the island and makes a number of interesting
stops at beaches, a lunch/bar, scenic viewpoints and a Tequila distillary
offering generous samples. Vehicles are standard shift. Motorscooters
are readily available for rental if you want to venture on your own. But,
extreme caution is necessary since the main town is very busy and the
traffic uses "Mexican Rules" - whoever gets there first has the right
of way. Via con Dios!

GL/73,      Bob  K8BL

I highly suggest that everyone try Guys Burger Joint on the Lido deck. Hands down the best burgers ever.

The presentation schedule, soon to be published, is a little lighter than in past years (10 on the docket.) That being said, multiple projects are underway and there will be plenty to discuss.
