Since we are on the subject of pinging, I am at my keyboard trying to make
a qso. How often should I send my beacon in order to alert people to me
that I am looking for QSO

My Beacon says "AHOY FROM EM29 PSE MSG ME" to indicate i am a real person
there to message

Once a minute? shorter? longer?
