Ken,
I had a listen yesterday but heard nothing, will listen this afternoon. Just
had a magnificent pass on FO-29 with seven stations contacted. The whole
station worked like a charm, next pass in an hour or so covers quite a bit
of the east coast USA.
Using: RX: Airspy Mini, TX: TS-2000, Innov Yagis for 2m / 70cms, AlfaSPID,
Own software
No fading on the satellite at all, was a stonking signal from AOS to LOS.
See you Sunday...

Subject: [amsat-bb] Alsat-1N ( Pratham ) satellite Beacon heard
Hi all,
Pleased to report that I heard the beacon ( 145.980 mhz ) on Alsat -1n -
Pratham on this mornings pass
here in Wales - UK The pass was at 0945 GMT and being at a reasonable
height easy to monitor.
I used the keps that were originally posted and my equipment my usual
Kenwood TS 2000 and tracking with the "ELK " antenna.
If I get a chance I will listen again on the next pass and perhaps get a
recording - I wonder how the data downlink was performing if switched on
whilst over France.?
Congratulations to the team and also of course to "ISRO" for the success on
the launch.
