This is normal. To get it to park you need to run wispdde first BEFORE
starting orbitron. Then when you are finished you close orbitron but
leave wispdde open and running. It will then park. It is not
automatic.

Some controllers have an option, I am not sure on the ERC to not move
when the elevation is low.

No. Use SATPC32. It is harder to use but it does not have these
problems. It has settings to do what you want.
