Additional info on FM satellites , IO-86 is also an FM bird (and also APRS), but as this bird is on an equatorial orbit, it is not as well known, only being used over part of India, Southeast Asia Countries and Brazil.
Several operators in Indonesia with HT and simple Superstik antenna have successfully QSO thru the bird.

As a tertiary payload on LAPAN A2 satellite, the FM repeater module is activated only once daily as also the APRS module. Additional activation of FM module on weekends.

The full weekly schedule is posted on:
http://pusteksat.lapan.go.id/subblog/pages/2017/49/Jadwal-Operasi-Satelit-LAPAN-A2LAPAN-ORARI

I'm heading to the US visiting family in Lubbock,TX and Portland, OR. If anybody is interested I can present a talk on IO-86 Indonesia's first amateur radio satellite.
