[amsat-bb] ITF-2 Operation Status Report and Announcement

All,

We’ll report ITF-2 operation status. From Apr. 15th (JST), the situation of
no CW
beacon from communication system A has continued. However, uplink of reset
command
succeeded at Apr. 26th (JST), and CW beacon from A has started being heard
again.
A lot of reports were received from the day when this problem occurred.
Thank you so
much for supporting us.


With the recovery of ITF-2, we will announce the operation which was
planned before
the problem occurrence. F2D telemetry downlink in several days is scheduled
soon. So,
we are planning the test for this operation. The date is as below.

Content: F2D telemetry downlink test
Date: May. 4th, 19:30 ~ May. 7th, 15:00 (UTC)

In the period of this test, F2D telemetry can be received in the pass which
is in the
period of system A. It is now difficult to predict which communication
system is
switched, A or B, due to some problems. So, the plan may be changed. Please
note this.
